I attained a bachelor's degree in journalism from Wayne State University.
Experience
I tutored several students while attending Wayne State University. I helped them with their papers in various subjects. Among the subjects were History and Law of American Journalism, Feature Writing, Basic Communications, Criminal Justice capstone paper, and college level English classes. Although I love to write, nothing is more satisfying than helping someone achieve in their studies. I want to be a tutor because I like to watch students learn. It's an extremely rewarding process when students further understand a subject. While a student at Wayne State University, in addition to many writing classes, I also took courses in business. I learned to effectively write business proposals. Furthermore, I worked as an editorial intern for The Oakland Press, a daily newspaper located in Pontiac, Mich., where I had about 20 articles published in both print and online editions. I currently write articles for neatoday.org, the National Education Association's news site, and one of my articles appeared on Yahoo's homepage.
