I've helped many students who are struggling in science and math. Everybody thinks differently, so I like to approach problems in as many ways as possible finding what works best for the student. As a TA I've gone over and graded hundreds of homework problems. I can quickly find where students are making mistakes and focus my teaching on the precise area where they are struggling.
