I have tutored children and high school students for over 4 years. I am currently the President of the Math and Spanish tutoring societies at Oakton High School. I am also a member of the science and school-wide tutoring center. I am the editor-in-chief of my high school newspaper. I was accepted to and attended the Governor's Academy for Spanish last summer. I have taken 9 AP classes: World History, Chemistry, English Language and Composition, BC Calculus, Spanish Language, Statistics, Government and Politics, English Literature and Composition, and Biology. I have received a 5 on all exams. My SAT score was 2100 and I received a 730 in Writing. I plan to major in Biology or Math with a minor in Spanish and I hope to become a Pediatric Oncologist. I want to be a tutor because I love working with children and I would like to expand my experiences helping others strengthen their skills in and out of school.
