Education
I am a fourth year medical student at VCU School of Medicine and will be graduating with my M.D. in May 2021. I graduated in May 2017 from William & Mary with a Neuroscience degree.
Experience
I have taught as a teaching assistant during medical school. In college, I was employed by William & Mary to tutor college athletes. Additionally, I privately tutored several elementary, middle, and high school students in the Williamsburg community. I have been an instructor for Fairfax Collegiate, a summer enrichment program, for the past three summers. In this role, I led my own classrooms and developed my own lesson plans. In college, I volunteered at Lafayette Village (a subsidized housing community) where I tutored elementary and middle school aged children. I scored a 1450 on my SAT and took 10 AP courses in high school. Due to my Neuroscience and medical school background, I am very well versed in all sciences and math. I am also quite good at (and enjoy!) reading comprehension.
